Mortem Shortfall Character Concepts
Back when I was in university, I came up with this idea for an original 2D animated series I called "Mortem Shortfall". It centers on a trio of reapers that have to recollect human souls that have been spread across time. Despite these characters having simple, cartoonish designs, this series is meant to be aimed towards an older audience, as it would be an adult comedy with a focus on action that isn't shy to showing some strong violence.
Nuriko - A powerful demon, and the main antagonist of Mortem Shortfall. He seeks to gain as much knowledge as possible, often coming at the cost of innocent people's lives.
Addict, Echo and Daze - The main protagonists of Mortem Shortfall. Echo is chaotic, while her sister Addict is ruthless. Daze is the most passive of the three.

Nasame - A demon obsessed with Nuriko, would be used for a potential second season.
Scyle - One of Nuriko's flunkeys. Her body is made of magma, with a second form of ice underneath it.
